Michael C. Mapes, Esq. is a product of Northern California and the Sierra Nevada foothills. He was born and raised in Nevada County and married his high school sweetheart. His legal experience has previously included complex litigation and transactional matters for some of the most sophisticated firms in the state of California and Nevada. Having experienced high-stakes and in-depth legal matters, Michael recognized that his true passion was to serve the working class people of Northern California by providing simple and affordable legal services. From that realization, Mapes Legal, P.C. was formed and has now expanded to a team of attorneys who provide a variety of legal services for their community members. Michael leads the team and focuses on small business legal services, construction and property law, and estate planning in Nevada County and throughout the state.
